Born and raised in Germany, Christine Grant graduated with honors from IWANSON School for Contemporary Dance in Munich. Her extended training after graduation included classes in Dance and Acting in New York City (U.S.A.), Stockholm (Sweden) and Hamburg (Germany). She worked as a professional dancer, actor, and teacher in Europe for more than 10 years, performing in a variety of musical, theater, and show productions including multiple German and European tours like La Belle Bizarre Du Moulin Rouge, Espen Nowacki’s Dreams of Musical and Musical Moments, the State Opera of Bavaria’s production Cherubin, the Royal Musical Gala, Dominik Halamek’s Variete Imagine, and the Burlesque show The Sinderellas. Christine danced in concert productions for stars like David Guetta, Victoria S., and Philipp Poisel and was part of video, commercial and movie productions for Universal Music, SONY Music, Coca Cola, Audi, and more. A back injury during her time as a dancer sparked a passion for everything health related. Over the last ten years, she studied natural healing in Hamburg (Germany), became a 200 hrs yoga teacher with AllYogaThailand in Koh Phangan (Thailand) and is currently in the process of becoming a lisenced Pilates instructor with Polestar Pilates and PowerPilates. After moving to Cleveland in 2018, Christine joined Cleveland Dance Project as a dancer for several seasons and was a CDP Company member for two seasons. She is currently finishing up her B.A. in Dance in Community at Cleveland State University. She is also a co-founder and board member of (feverdream), an artist residency and non-profit organization in Cleveland providing emerging artists with resources to advance in their artistic career. Christine feels honored to be a part of CDP Company’s board and to help realize this art form’s potential to promote health and wellness amongst professional dancers and the wider community.
